I will check it more thoroughly, I thought I saw the driver's leaf spring move forward just a little so I need to look at that carefully

Check all of the front steering linkage and kingpin/ball joints for anything loose and replace. Check tires for out-of-round and any bumps or bulges with the proper amount of air pressure, along with the build date on the tires. Almost always a combination of looseness/flex compounded with bad or improperly balanced tires. After all of this, then get someone to check the alignment

I had a cucv with Dana 60 front that developed DW. I checked for worn parts and loose bolts and all was good. Ended replacing the kingpin springs on top of the kingpin. Very easy to do and I believe I got them from ORD. Fixed my issue completely. I reckon they lose tension on the kingpin over time and let it flop around a little bit. Check some CUCV forums I'm sure there's info out there about this. Hope this helps

I’d also add to idahovette’s post above to check the spring bushings, shackles, mounts and springs. My understanding of DW is that it is an effect that can happen because of any worn steering and suspension components.
