I've been in the process of changing from a 6.2 diesel to a gas engine. I have cutt out unneeded wires as I go.

Is there anything that I can put on the ends of the wires I have cut? They still will be in the wire looms.

I have used Plasti-dip with no problems after wrapping with electrical tape then dipping or painting them with it then let dry good. :favorites13:

Cut the end flush, then fold about 1/4 inch of wire back over itself to make a loop, then put a small bit of shrink tube on the end and heat the shrink tube up. It's the best way I've found so far. Looks clean too, and since the wire is folded and then heat shrinked together, no exposed ends, will last way longer than electrical tape.
