couldnt go past 30mph after wash

So I have no idea where to post this plus I have no idea what could cause this because I'm a total newb but after I washed my trucks underside it started fine but I couldn't lay in to her with out it trying to die on me so what could this be I'm trying to get my truck running well enough to drive back and forth to work for 2 weeks just let me know guys I really appreciate it!

sounds like you got something wet. how's that for a diagnosis. is it popping? I would pull the dist cap and see if you somehow got water in there. other places I would look is the o2 sensor and speed sensor. highdesertranger
