Hi. I am concerned there may be a control arm issue on my 1986 C20. I bought from the original owner years back. I had the upper control arms replaced for bushing/ball joint replacement several years ago. While changing oil I noticed that there seems to be a lot of shims on the upper control arms replaced mounts and the bump stop is resting on upper doing perch at rest. Is this normal ? Thank you. To me, it looks like they shimmed it out to adjust the camber.

Thank you. Sorry for the poor grammar I was typing under vehicle. Do the amount of shims seem excessive and should that bump stop be resting like that?

This is assuming that the vehicle is on the ground, and not on a jack or jack stands: Based on the angle of that upper ball joint, the bump stop, and the shims, its possible that they installed the wrong control arms. Are there any part numbers stamped on them?

Yes. On the ground. I am trying to find a part number on the arms.
