you guys don't realize what it takes to run a salvage yard. a lot of red tape here, high price insurance, and high price scrap to buy. A square body that is complete brings $600 on scales here. I got on a friend that owns a large junkyard as to why he never saves any. His response is that no one wants to pay anything for parts off them, and it would take forever to recoupe what he has to pay on the scales for them. he can't tie up $6k in 10 parts trucks to sell $20 parts off of. He just crushes them now. I'm having same problem, I haven't sold any square parts in a couple months myself. there getting few and far between up here in the rust belt
