carpet install 2 rubber plugs to hold carpet to fire wall, proper way to remove so they can be reused

Work from engine side.

Coat the part that extends through the FW liberally with grease/Vaseline/oil.

Use a pair of needle nose to squeeze the point and, while squeezing, push it through the FW.

They are surprisingly durable and should survive the change out if removed in this manner.

If you try to pull them into the cab from the button side - all bets are off.

You need to stop showing off pictures of that shiny red cab !!! lol. It keeps reminding me of how much I want to be you right now lol
