Can I take a Q-jet off a 350 and put it on my 454? Same year. I hear they are both 750 cfm, but shouldn't they be jetted differently?

If the 454 has a spread bore intake it bolts right on, jetting maybe maybe not need to try it as is first then go from there..

You're exactly right. If it bolts up then I should give it a shot. Thanks for the reply

Most any Quadrajet will bolt on. It may run ok for you but there are many differences in the calibrations of all quadrajets. Jetting, rods, idle circuits, main circuits, etc.
Typically, the Quadrajet doesn't swap around to different applications well without some recalibration.

Thanks. I'm gonna bolt it on and see how it goes. It's in better shape than the one that's there
