cab marker light problems

I have a 89' dually and the other nite when I turned on my headlights I noticed my roof marker lights not workin so today I did some testing of the circuits and found that im gettin power on both sides of each light plug with the bulb out and when I take out all of the bulbs but one and touch my test light on the one side of the socket the the bulb will light real dim almost glowin im wonderin if I have A short in my harness or is my switch bad has anyone ever had a problem like this or have a wiring harness

If you have power on both sides of the plug with the bulb out then you have a short in the harness. Check fo any spots where the wires are going through a sharp area and make sure they havent been cut into and touching.
