I went through the exact same thing you did when I was 17. Hows the rest of your cab Floor, rockers?

Rather than trying to weld it, drill through the flanges (from under the truck) and pop rivet from inside (down through the floor).

Weird..I'm 16 going through it. The rocker is rusted through. Bad
Cab mounts/bed mounts are basically brand new. Chengny. Do you have any pictures on how you did yours?

go through and cut out all all the rust on rockers, cab corner, support, etc and buy new patch panels and weld in. if the rust is too bad, like mine was I just went out and bought a rust free cab
