C20 CREW VS C30 CREW, is there a diff?

since they both use the one ton frame and 14bolt rear, is it just the spring package?

i know the 1 ton has bigger rear brakes then the 3/4 ton does

i know the 1 ton has bigger rear brakes then the 3/4 ton does

Yeah, but you could get the bigger brakes on the 3/4 ton too.

3/4 ton usually have a simi flotting axle, 14 bolt axle, 1 ton. Has full flotter axles. The ring and pinion is bigger to. There may be extra coolers, on the trans, and or engine oil cooler.

Big blocks and diesels got the FF, even in a 3/4. All of the 70's trucks got the FF.

So you're saying a C20 crew cab with a 350 got the SF axle, even though they got the 1-ton frame and rear spring perch spacing?

No, just trying to point out some outer possible differences. Spring stuff was already brought up.

My 86 K20 has a 14ff with a 9 leaf rear spring pack and 13 inch rear brakes

Yea i got 2 14bff, one out of a 73 3/4 based on the axle code with smaller drums (wich is in my truck now) and one from a 75 3/4 large drum. both 10.5" 4.10's.
