Hi, I have a '73 C20 454 burb, 2wd. It has the full float 14 bolt rear end with LSD. I want to lower it about 3" ( shackles ? ) and put AR classic 5 spokes on. Does anyone sell 5 stud hub conversions for a full floater? or will I have to swap out the full axle for a 1/2 ton? Also I have been told that 5 stud pitch circle dia. varies between trucks of different years - is this right?
Thanks for any help.
BTW - I wanted to go this route so i could swap back if I need the tow capacity later, and keep the LSD ( obviously can't keep C20 ratings with alloy racing wheels ! )
