Broken ignition actuator

1982 GMC Serra 1500. Torn down the steering column and found the ignition actuator broken. How do I replace it on a tilt column?

Lots of videos on Youtube on rebuilding GM tilt columns. Only need to buy an inexpensive lock plate press tool. I don't think you even need to mess with the tilt mechanism.

I’m a gear head helping out a neighbor. Never did any steering column work. Broke down to where I found the broken ignition actuator. How do I install the new actuator?
