Hey gentlemen.
Got a 1975 k20 that came with a bunch of stuff not attached. Assuming this is the correct blower housing, the gap between the housing and the body is pretty large as you can see in the photos. I dont think there is supposed to be a gasket, and you just use dumdum strips, or maybe urethane to span the gap? sound about right?
BTW, sorry if not in right forum. Couldnt find anything specific to this housing. lots of threads on the heater box under the dash.

Remove the nuts from the studs through the firewall first, then it should sit more flush.

Some type of butyl tape should be fine to seal it to the firewall.

3m strip caulk. Butyl rope.
