Hey y’all. I’m in the hunt for my dream truck! Kid is a teen now and I’m ready to relive my youth with him. Looking for a mid to late 80s K10 with LS, lift, upgrade interior and blue exterior preferably. We are considering moving to Durango, CO so it would be used to putt around town only, 6,000 ft elevation range. My first truck at 16 was a Scottsdale, jacked up rust bucket but I loved it! I’m not very knowledgeable yet about these classics but inspired to learn. Thanks

Seems about $10k high for an 87 longbed k10, but that’s just my cheap azz opinion talking.

Not that I’m against longbeds or the rest of it, but at that price they’re competing with short bed k10 round eyes.
At a minimum, the picture taker and chassis spray bomb guy both need new glasses. Nice pics of missed a spot, back of rim painted black, transmission leak and brake fluid soaked back tire. Lol. And not original color and it was painted with the bed on and probably the tailgate too it looks like. And they’re hiding stuff. No engine pic etc.
But I agree somewhat on the price being high. Since the market is softer now than what sellers all hope for from a few years ago. There are a ton of these trucks available and they’re not getting more rare because the rusted out ones are already shot and the clean ones are generally somewhere they are naturally preserved like where we live or they are now being kept up and looked after, restored or not.
Couple things about the price, 1. Used car dealer. Not after the saavy buyer, their target market is the 16% interest crowd or the disposable income crowd since they are a “classic car@ dealer as well. 2. It’s in SD and per the add is/was rust free, being sold in the Rust Belt. Target audience, NOT someone who’s motivated enough to buy a left coast truck and haul or ship it back.
3. It’s pretty desirable. K10 efi, OD, AC and dual tanks (but no PW/PL/and probably no cruise) and it’s a wishlist price. Been trying for a while and dropping the price. Started at $30k lol. Not in a hurry.

Welcome from Central NC. Good luck finding the truck that meets all your criteria. I have an '87 that will be for sale soon & it checks many of the boxes that you desire though. DM if interested.

Welcome from Australia! - used to live near Durango in the '90's ( back in the days of YETI and Barracuda cycles ). I'm sure real estate has changed a bit since then ...
Loads of cool places to camp and weekend out that way. The drive out the back of Silverton to Creede was one of my favourites. Head out to Utah, Bryce, Zion and Moab etc.
Used to be able to find rust free trucks down in NM with no issue. not sure what its like now. Bought a mint 1 owner '72 blazer from Lemon lake, just up the road for $6,000 back in the day. Figured I was getting ripped off for the price at the time ...
