My 1979 pickup needs the bench seat recovered. Looking for the best quality reupholstery kit for around $200-$250. I've heard they are pretty easy to put on. Just want one that fits snug and looks good. I know lmc truck, classic industries, and brothers sell them. So if any of yall know if any of them are actually good.... let me know. Lol

Mine is from LMC, I'm happy with it. My truck doesn't get used much so I can't say how durable it will be but the quality seems good.

My dad restored my truck for me and installed so I don't know how difficult it was.

Bought mine from LMC and installed myself. Very easy and looks just like factory.

With the LMC covers... are they designed to go over the old covers or designed to totally replace the old covers?

Are the ones that were purchased the full vinyl or the vinyl/velvour?

Complete replacement of old seat. My original seat was all velour but the outer edge was trashed from the driver getting in and out. So for the replacement I went with vinyl and velour thinking the outside edge will last longer in vinyl but velour will be cooler to sit on. Not quite as comfortable but longer lasting.
