Went to the shop for other things had to take a new pic....rims do look a little average....but I think I will leave em off for now....see if it grows on me

I think the stainless rings will look sweet on the nice paint job. They'll also tie in nicely with the stainless mirrors

I like the narrow ring look.

I've been looking for some for 19.5's but the last company that made them went out of of business a few years back.

I prefer 1940 Ford style ribbed stainless rings on body colored wheels… For a 2 tone I paint the wheels to match the darker color. When our 85 swb was still red/white, it had red wheels. Lisa has switched from bass boat flaked dark cherry candy to bass boat flaked dark purple candy with pearl white, wheels will be purple to match. Tri-bar center caps and ribbed stainless trim rings.

IMHO, the generic 15” trim rings from O’reilly fit better than the stock rings if you prefer bulge-mobile smoothies…

I think it just depends on what YOU like. I have one with and one without so I can't say either way, but I will tell you...yes, once you put them on, they will scratch the paint, and you pretty much need to leave them on.

YEP. If I do or don't like what you chose, it doesn't matter, if it conflicts with what you like.

Of course, I reserve the right to pay all your bills, so I can justify claiming I have a say on what you choose. . . .

My OCD thought is to try without the rings....I have fresh paint on the rims.....if I put the rings on i might scuff the paint....
That is an idea until paint cures. I run them on my step side 1985 These step sides are rare by the 1980's
