Truck started find. Disconnected the positive to work on gauges. Worked on gauges a couple days. Rehooked positive. Tried to start . ZIP. Like nothing.

Hooked up battery charger. Volts 12.3 Percentage 34%

Charged battery. Volts 12.3 Percentage 100%

Tried to start. ZIP.

Voltage 12.3 Percentage 2%

Could a battery just die like that???

Sounds like something else. You have another vehicle you can swap the battery into or another battery to swap into the truck?

Or does your charger have a ‘start’ or ‘jump’ mode?

If still nothing, I’d check condition of main cables and probe either side of the fuseable links for continuity...

Yes, that was my next thought.

Didn't do it because it is a pain.

Also put battery charger on 60 AMP start and tried. ZIP.
