Sounds like when the 60 was robbed from the front, so was the Detroit locked 14 bolt. Which could cause different gear ratios. Swap the rear from the doner tuck too and you'll be good to go.

Pull the covers and get the numbers off of the ring gears or count the teeth already. Just mark a tooth with a grease pencil or welder's chalk and count, do it twice to remove the doubt of error. Nothing like knowing for sure what you've got.
Or he could just font the numbers tat usually look some thing like xx-x and divide.

Yea thats what I ended up doing. Been back on the road for several weeks now with no other problems. Thanks for everyones help! :cheers:
