I used to be an active member. Life got in the way. Still got the old truck. Still best rig I got. Now my 16 yr old boy has caught the “sickness”. Bought himself a 1986 K5. Nice rig! I’m a proud papa.

Nice! Congrats.
My middle son wanted my beater '79 C10 when he got his license. I ended up giving it to him. Served him well for many years until the engine finally died.

Great to see the younger generation wanting to keep these old trucks on the road.

My almost 14-year-old son is eyeing an old Ford extended-cab dent-side that our friend & neighbour has for sale. The friend is an old bodyman (in his 80s now and has countless hot rods behind him) and is very OCD about anything he owns. I might be persuaded to go back to the dark side ( I cut my teeth on a 1977 Ford Super Cab) and help him get the truck (he has most of the money now), but he can't drive it himself for two more years (learner's license at 14 - driver's at 16 in Alberta).

Hell yeah! Even if it is a ford, better than a Tesla. That will give you and him 2 years to work on it and make sure it’s good and ready for him
