I'm converting my 87' long box to a short box.

My plan is to re use the front box panel and cut the floor but use aftermarket box side panels.

Anyone had experience with ClassicParts.com body panels?

Unfortunately I haven't heard the best things about aftermarket panels in regards to fitment but I'm having a hell of a time finding any used GMC short box sheet metal. It's either crazy money or rotted out.

And what the heck is with LMC not having any left side short box panels for 73-87's??

I shopped all over and ended up ordering through KMS Tools here in Canada. They said they will be coming out of Kansas.

I checked out LMS, Classic Industries etc but with shipping and fees coming across the border and our crappy dollar, the expense was just too much.

So I've got short box fleetside panels on order. The only issue is they have the circle style filler door but I will change it to the period correct square style door before the paint work.
