Another oil pressure gauge thread

Okay I figured it out, the pinout on that MS Paint drawing was incorrect! However I traced the wires visible on the actial picture and found that the sender unit is to be connected on the other side

I happen to have couple of 47 resistors on hand. My 0-60 gauge shows 0 when "sensor" is grounded, ~30 when sensor is connected to ground via 47 Ohm resistor, about ~60 with two resistors in series (94 ohms) and ~15 with two resistors in parallel (23.5 ohm). I guess my gauge is quite linear and should work correctly with a 0 - 90 ohm sender unit.
