Another Newb from Tx

Hello all, found this site from another board, glad to be here, I own an 80 Silverado SWB C10, 77 Cheyenne SWB K20, 81 Silverado LWB C10, and the 05 2500 CC Duramax. I will post up pics soon. I'm interested in doing the LS swap in the 80 model, so anyone who has done one, any help would be appreciated. I also am putting an LS engine in my dads 94 Silverado. Thank you in advance.

Welcome to the board man! We've had a lot of new people join recently so it's possible one of them has done an LS swap in their square but we have not had them post it up yet. When you do it, though, do a write up on it and post it up. We need that write up for future folks that wanna do it. It's becoming a popular mod and many will want to do the same thing.

That first square (an 80 maybe judging from the grill ) is looking to be a pretty solid looking truck. Fairly rust free from what I can tell. Is that second one your farm truck or ???

Also, what all have you done to the Dmax?

The first one I bought in CA when I was 18, I am the 2nd owner, it was a farm truck before i got it. The second one, i did some trading for, it is on the deer lease, so i don't worry about thorns, and mesquite scratching the paint on the dmax. The dmax has an Edge, with 5" exhaust from the down pipe back, LMM intake tube and turbo inlet, LBZ air box, it also is setup with a B&W gooseneck and companion for towing trailers, and my fifthwheel.

What are your plans for this one?

My plans keep changing, as of right now, I want to put an LS based 6.0 with a 4L80. I have been toying with the idea of a big block, but my wallet says no.
