Another dash pad question

I have one of the over molded covers but was thinking about trying to track down a real dash pad. So now the question, do I need the windshield out to completely replace it?

Never mind got it out after pulling the 4 9/32 screws from front. Just needed to pull and lift not pull then lift

Yup, got to watch and try and not break the clips in the front part.
