Alternator bolt

Recently replaced my water pump in my 87 350 TBI and noticed the bolt that the alternator pivots on is broken and im going to have to drill it out of the head and re tap and was wondering if anyone could tell me the length of the bolt its self and possible the length of thread on the bolt

It's a standard 3/8 bolt. It's like 5 or 6 inches long, sorry I can't say exactly, I'm not home.

I've got the bolt to go in there but i couldnt get one close to the same length was either 1 inch to short or like 2 inches too long so i grabbed the longer one and am just gonna thread it and cut to length
