When I did my Vintage Air install i put in new firewall insulation, an a cheap roll of foil backed jute insulation on the floor under my carpet as i still need to fix some rust in the floor an rocker area. Even with the humidity here in SC after about 15 mins you'll be turning the temp up off max cool. The system works great, even if you cant keep it in the cab lol. I have regular tint too that I'll upgrade to creamic eventually. It's one of the best things I've done to the truck. I wished I had done it 10 years ago....

Looks a little too bright. Is it adjustable? Or maybe it's just the photo.

It will dim with the rest of the gauge lighting. Its no worse than anything else though.
