E7TZ-17526-B for pin type from ford if you want to look for NOS

F1TZ17526AA for the J hook style if you want NOS. Ford makes these still. Higher quality than dorman and the OEM ones on trucks sometimes are bent.

If you want to you can shorten the ford arm to be the same length, but thats not necessary it seems like from yall input

NOTE: Im just going off PIAA chart but it seems GM revised the wiper blades on 1988-1991 R/V to 18 inches (chassis cab, duallys i believe then?)

if that is true then clearly gm thought it was wise too

same chart says 16 for the 1987-1991 suburban, so maybe it was an error in chart making. i cant find a heritage vcenter thing for the chassis cabs, im not sure if a brochure would. I may look into it later on the chassis cab brochures

If you take a pair of pliers to that useless f’n pin style arm end…. You get a perfectly fitting accepts normal modern blades wiper arm. You’re welcome.

Picture or explain more? They don’t have a j hook so I’m not sure how you did that?

The new wiper blade kit comes with fittings. Break off the pin end, you get an arm with a hole in it. The end of choice from the blade kit includes a snap on J-hook. Clean, simple, fits/works like it was made for the truck, because it is still a stock arm.

Done to my wife’s 85 C10 swb -and- my 92 K1500 escb with replacement arms.

Save the Ford arms for Fords and older Dodges.

Woah woah, woah... hold the phone! So you effectively converted the pin style arms to the older bayonet style? And you bought blades that still came with the bayonet to j-hook adapter? Which blades did you buy?!!!!

We've had a couple threads here, discussing the j-hook adapters. They are no longer available separately.

Cheap ones, remember black and white cans that just said “BEER” on them? These were black on white packages from most likely Walmart.
