Quick question for everyone, if I buy a mechanical oil pressure gauge how could I put it in the stock position? Don't want to ruin the printed cluster.

Why do you want a mechanical oil pressure gauge? Does yours not work?

To answer your original question, it could be kind of hard to run an oil hard line into your housing. IIRC, the printed circuit covers the entire backside. I don't know if it will still work if you cut out a portion to clear your hard lines. Maybe you could come in from the top or bottom? I don't know the clearances around the cluster.

I would say to stay with your electric gauge. Maybe find someone with an aftermarket gauge that is known to be accurate, and hook it up simultaneously with yours and compare them. For piece of mind you could get a new sensor and see if it registers different than your current one.
