Hey so i think my 4bbl are set to slow or something. I have been talkin to a buddy that has tinkered a bit but no pro with these and he thinks my carb is gulping air to soon or fast for my 4 barrels to catch up. My problem is only when i put it to the floor from a dead stop. The truck pulls for a split second (prolli just the primaries) then chugs like two much fuel then just gets loud but don't pull hard and just sounds off till about 15-20 then all is good.

Are the secondary butterfly valves moving freely?

Hey guys a little update. I got my throttle plate re bushed and reinstalled along with a valve adjustment. So my truck was running rough and different so i decided to tinker with my air/fuel screws a bit along with the idle and timing. I seem to have it running as smooth as possible with this combo, 12 btdc, air screws 5 turns out and idle is about perfect. Just checking if this sounds good or should i change anything? If i turn the air screws out any more it starts to idle up, if i turn them any lower than 4 it starts to chug. I took it out and she runs very strong but just want some re-asurance that my air screws are fine were they are at.
