Yes your correct 3rd gens are that way with the fuel line. 4 gens different on that setup . My car is mostly fiberglass and plastic . Not really a structural vehicle by any means , mostly disposable cars now if they are involved in a crash lol . Not something I would do to a very nice original car or a classic . Like people cutting radio holes in nice old trucks I hate that .

Well, rear bumper fell to some bad prep and has to be repainted with some possible cracks repaired with 3m adhesive first. Otherwise very dusty and somewhat extremly slowly coming along. Still have heads/cam to install and paint the engine bay black at some point as well.

Switched over to interior for now. Will remain red inside, but adding more insulation, new carpet, new speaker covers and different seats. Hatch pull down assbly got busted again, so that is getting replaced again as well.

Keeping it f body related. Wanted to verify all is still good with the engine from 87 camaro. Rigged up pressure test for the cooling system. Found a leaky heater core, otherwise was good. Going to do a spot compression check as well. Have a replacement motor sitting in the back of the burban.

There is a 2"x4" hole a bit higher. Decided to use panel bond on this one. Being unibody the hole has no access from below, so if I weld a small patch I would not be able to coat it from below. With panel bond, I can prep it and then glue a patch. Should keep it from getting more rust.

My rear seats were really in bad shape. I have acquired better set, but different color. So fronts are getting replaced as well. Moved manual rails from old seats to slightly newer seats. Switches will stay on a side as a reminder that it used to be a power seat.
