86 K10 cab on 80 k10 chassis

I bought a rear ended 86 K10 and am going to put the cab and bed on an 80 k10 chassis but am not sure if the mounts will align. I have read that some people use the body mounts for the chassis and they align but am not sure. Also I assume that am supposed to use the bumpers off an 80?

The front frame horns changed in 81 so if you use the later bumper you may have to fab a little.

Match the body bushings to the frame, it’s the hole size in the frame brackets that changed. The body doesn’t care which bushing you use.
