So I have an 84 full size 4x4 GMC Jimmy but I really want to build it as a two-wheel drive I've seen a couple swaps on YouTube changing out everything in the rear end and the front end from a two wheel drive truck or do I have to cut the frame off of both and do a subframe like the old street rods or will everything just bolt up with a little modification does anybody know a little more about the transformation and thank you in advance

If you have a 1/2 ton donner truck, it can be done with a bunch of measuring. If you have a 1/2 ton donner, I would Z cut the frame behind the front body mount, weld it together and fish plate it.
