Info: 83 C10 - American Auto Wire Harness - AAW PW & PL Harness and LMC relay kit ( no issue with LMC kit, just for info)
Problem: I have a black wire with single connector that I am confused about. AAW had to research and call me back and stated it was 12V IGN…… schematics I found show it to be a ground. (Makes sense since it’s black)
This is part of the body crossover harness, which is under the dash that connects the driver door to the passenger door in regards to the power windows, and locks. I have the factory relay with 2 connections which are accounted for and are not a problem. I figured out where the battery power (ORG/BLK) and ignition power (pink) plug into the fuse box with clips along with circuit breaker on pink, but at a loss for the black. It seems as if it loops back into the 4 pin.
Question: does anybody have a picture showing exactly where this goes on a factory truck? I blew mine apart eight years ago, and for the life of me cannot figure out where this thing plugged into.
Again the only schematic I found shows it going to ground bus bar, anyone have a pic or can I just cut the connector and put a ring terminal to ground?
Thanks!
