Hello all, new to the group. Been fixing the vacuum lines inside the truck for my defrost. It's a 78' k20 with A/C. I replaced the control switch and was trying to get the defrost to work and noticed an extra line that appears to go to the dual actuator. I found this tube (pic attached) recessed in the box. Is it brocken off? It doesn't look like a new one will stick out any further. Any help is appreciated.

There are two actuators mounted on the HVAC plenum Benin’s the glove compartment. IIRC, one actuator is easy to see toward the front, and the other is on the back side between the plenum and the firewall. If I am oriented properly (a picture from farther back would help), I don’t recall any vacuum connection where you have the hole in your picture.

In my original post the picture I posted is directly in front of the actuator between the plenum and the firewall. With the actuaror in the right of the picture underneath the wires. I searched all around the actuator and cannot find the other port. The actuator is mounted tight up against the box unlike others i have seen with the port on the outside of the box. So I started looking online for another box and came across the box in the picture. It shows it coming up through the box. So that led me to believe my port has been broken, but after I have been looking for a new actuator, I don't see one with an extended port that would stick up very far from the box. I am going to get it cleaned up better this evening and get a better idea of what I have i guess.
