Hello all. Truck is a restored 1976 GMC short bed 4x4 with all original rebuilt engine and driveline. The original upper bushing is worn and hollowed out causing clutch peddle to almost hit the lights dimmer switch on floor when depressed. Also, even after adding stronger return spring clutch pedal does not release fully past the free play point. I have searched for a replacement but have not any luck. Has anyone experienced this issue that can give me some advice or direction. Thanks in advance for your help.

You can get the pedal bushing to replace the missing ones. Dad's ole '79 C20 clutch pedal does the same dance; moving left as far as down.
