SWEET !!! That's exactly what I'm looking for. And just to verify, it should be the Th350 with a 9in tailshaft.

Being that there is only 1/2 difference in a 700r4, and Th350 with a 9in tailshaft which is normally the OEM Th350 in a square, I'm hoping the same driveshaft will work for the 700r4 and not need to mod one.

Sorry, didn't get to it last night, ice everywhere. Will get it ASAP. When measuring the shaft(s), do you want measurements from 'tube to tube' or from 'cap to cap' as in ujoint cap? Will measure tailshaft (housing) as well.

If that works out I may slap a R4 in my **** temporarily as my TH350 just developed a 3rd gear, high load slip....and the 4.11's kinda suck for highway cruising with stock engine.

Driveshafts are usually measured center of cap to center of cap. No Hurry at all. Anytime this Spring is good with me.

If you can get a well built 700r4 and having 4.10's on relatively stock tire size, a 700r4 will hold up OK if you're not doing constant heavy loads or towing and will certainly improve your mpg. Not only the OD, but the lock up converter will help the highway mpg significantly and the lower 3.06 first vs the 2.48 that a Th400 has, the lighter weight will improve the city mpg a bit. Just be sure the TV cable and the Lock Up are set up properly.
