I have an 87 gmc 4x4 1500 700 R4 tranny and also have a turbo 350.
The 700 lost reverse so I was wondering if I can bolt the 1975 turbo 350 right up or what I need to do so?
Thanks guys

It looks like you need a 1.5" adapter but im not sure if that is to keep the transfer case in the same place or because the out put shaft on the th350 is longer

the th350 is 21.5" long

the 700r4 is 23 3/8" long

So if you take the transmissions and measure the out put shafts. If they are trhe same then you can bolt it all together but.... the transfer case will have been moved forward 1 3/4" so then your drive shaft will be to short especially if you have a lift already.

If the out put of the th350 is longer than the 700r4s then you cant bolt it up to the adapter with out a spacer.
