I put a single rear tank in my C10 from a blazer and also put in the matching sender, which has 4 ports. One of them goes to the fuel pump, the other I have as a tank vent. I blocked the other two.

I can literally see the fumes coming from the vent line and it will fill my garage with the smell of gas within several hours. How do I know that I vented the right port on the sender? Also, if I get a filter for the current vent hose, will that stop the fumes from coming out, but also allow the tank to breathe?

My fuel pump doesn't have a return line on it if that helps.

Thanks in advance.

Brandon
