I've currently got an a883 4 speed trans. Was orinally with an inline 6 250, then mated to a sbc 350 that puked it's crank. I'm putting in a 305 given to me until my 250 is rebuilt.
Now..the clutch and flywheel are the same part numbers between the 250 and the 350.
BUT..they are different part numbers between the 350 and the 305. From what I can read online, both take the same 11" 10 spline 1 7/8" center bore clutch.
My question is, will the 250/350 pressure plate bolt onto the 305 flywheel or am I looking at buying a clutch set and flywheel to make this work?
