Do the caliper brackets/backing plates from a 3/4 ton Dana 44 interchange with the backing plates on a 3/4 ton 10 bolt? Are any minor modifications necessary?

The driver's side plate is mostly missing from the 10 bolt under my truck, and I may have a lead on some Dana 44 backing plates. Just trying to confirm that the Dana 44 parts will work for my application. As a last resort, I do have some 10 bolt 1/2 ton plates that I could use if I put the smaller rotors on it.

If I remember correctly there is no modification needed. I've swamped 6 lug to 5 lug lol to 8 lug on 44s and 10 bolts. Another reason I'm a CHEVY Guy.

They may have been removed for a reason? Doing a lot of mud is better without them in my opinion??

Notice there is overlap , the differences likely were to do with weight reduction and possibly changes in position or size but i dont know what a 1981-1983 have going on
