Hey guys need some opinions.
My 82 is lowered 5/7, and that may change if there is an issue. I can raise it 2" so that it will be a 3/5 drop.

Anyway I am looking at getting a set of drag radials. I've been eyeing mickey thompson ET streets. They have 2 sizes I'm considering. 275/60 and 295/55 which is roughly the same height but wider. I'll be running these on a 15x8 wheel (If 295s will work I will eventually get the 15x10 rallys)

I have 275/60s up front now that seems to do ok when I do get her out on the roads. Will I be better off to run the same size in the back or go with the wider 295s and swap to the 15x10s later? Anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks

Conclusion- it's possible..

295/55r15 on a 8" rally 5/7 drop

You must be registered for see images attach

Plans are to purchase 10" rallys later and mount the MT on those. Put the 275/60 cooper cobras on the 8" wheel and purchase some skinnier, maybe shorter tires for up front.

Sweet! I am planning to run 295's on mine also. Ordinarily I'd say run the same size all around so you can rotate them, but if it's not a real DD, then who needs to rotate them, mine will probably dry rot before they wear.
