I've got one of the retired ambulances ready to sell. It's very high miles, somewhere over 550k on it. Extremely well maintained though, as people's lives depended on it. Runs and drives very well. Has recent brakes front and rear, recent control arms, ball joints, tie rods and Bilstein shocks. Tires are fair. 6.6L Duramax diesel, 6L90 trans, 14FF rear with 3.54 gears. Rooftop heat and AC, van powered. Has on board inverter with outlets. Has shore power plug-in to give power to inverter and electric rear heater unit. The inverter also keeps the batteries charged. Would make a great work van or a basis for a camper van. Has power windows and locks, cruise control and factory CD player with AUX input. Currently the AC does not work due to a hole rubbed into the condenser. Before I was aware of said hole, I was charging the AC and it was blowing exceptionally cold with a nice and quiet compressor. The van also has dual alternators.

Similar year cargo vans seem to be selling for 12k. Due to the very high miles, my asking price in the window is 6500. Asking price here will be less a 5k.

So I got a new phone with a much better camera. I now can see for myself the issues people have been having with uploading file sizes.

I could see an electrician, a locksmith, a plumber, or a carpenter wanting such a thing.
being able to stand up inside a air-conditioned / heated space with a work bench...
and I know some carpenters that put a priority on suburbans and vans, ...as they just like keeping their electrical tools warm / dry in the cabin vs. cold and getting condensation on them in a pickup under a cap and going into a warm house.

There's a local Plumbing company using those Ambulances. I never noticed that they were Plumbing vans until I saw one pulling a trailer.

Holy miles!!!

This one ain't got sh!t on it, lol. One of the ones my buddy got has 700k on it.

The one I've been driving everyday has 565k on it, then the other two I bought have roughly 550k and only 505k on the "low mile" one.

About as many as my traverse lol

Lol, I've currently got one of them spoken for. A friend of mine wants to trade his Jeep TJ for one, which I will do. It's a pretty good little Jeep with no rust. I don't really want it, but my daughter does.

I've had this one parked out front for a while and I live on a US highway. Oh and my wife put it on marketplace too. I honestly thought it would be gone by now. People pay stupid money for rusted out trucks with considerable body/interior damage and barely running, just because they are a turbo diesel. People also pay stupid money for rusted out cargo vans with a gutless 4.3 V6.

Maybe it would sell easier if I cut the exhaust off, put a stack on it and some grungy black 20" Moto Metals from CL.

Still available! I mentioned it on CK5, but forgot here, I would be willing to trade for a '96-'00 K3500, with 454, in average condition. It would need to be a single cab truck. I figure the values should be roughly the same.

Sold. A deposit was also left for one of the ambulances I did not have for sale yet. Sometime in the spring, I will be selling the one I've been driving everyday.
