Hello I’m doing this switch from an automatic transmission to a manual 465 set up to a mechanical clutch system and it isnt real clear on bell crank positioning and clutch pedal hookup. Has anyone else done this or know what parts I may be missing. Bought new bell crank and pushrod that goes to the fork for the clutch but can’t find the correct clutch pedal to bell crank linkage and how to mount the bell crank? Has anyone else done this??

So no one else has commented, and it's been 20+ years since I did it, but I had an '82 that I swapped from automatic to an sm465. Now an '82 would have been mechanical linkage if it came factory, but an '85 would have been hydraulic. I'm not sure if the holes are in the frame for the bell crank support, and if they are dimpled in the floor for the clutch rod. I used everything from a '78 c20 to swap to my '82, but pretty sure everything from a '73-84 should bolt in, c10-k30, so that's where you can look for used parts. New, I think lmc offers at least most of them, but by the time you piece everything together, you are almost better off getting a set of hydraulic pedals and putting in.

You can do the swap & it's not terrible. The holes should be in the frame where the bell crank/Z-bar fastens. The other end should go into the bell housing on the ball stud. Did you get a pedal assembly or just get a clutch pedal & the long thru-bolt?
I built my dad's ole '55 6100 2nd Series from a '76 K20 frame that was an auto. It was not bad at all BUT then I do have several SM465 trucks in 2x & 4x variants

Thanks guys yeah I made it through using some factory parts and making some of my own. It’s been so long since my original post, I almost forgot about it. Now I’m just trying to get things fine tuned and running a little better!
