1985 Custom Deluxe Wipers

Hello, I have a question about the opera of my windshield wipers. When I push on the chrome tab on the turn signal lever to activate the washer fluid should my wipers automatically turn on also? The wipers and the washer fluid functions work but are they supposed to work together by just pressing the washer tab? Thanks, Greg

If im remebering right, yes your correct. The sprayers should spray as the wipers wipe about 3 times both together.

Thanks, also my truck doesn’t have delay wipers it’s just hi and low and mist. Does anyone know what makes the wipers turn on and cycle a few times when the washer fluid tab gets pushed? Thank you!
