1983 Suburban Speaker wiring path

I just purchased an '83 Suburban, and I'm struggling a bit with the radio. What is the cable path for the rear speakers? I think I have a short in there someplace, and not sure where to start the inspection. Thanks!

There's a little grommet behind the rear seat where right before the speakers. That's where they finally go into the body.
