Hub centric rings AKA Compression rings are not spacers at all, they are needed because most stock rims do not have the champher on the lug holes that the lug nuts require! They definitely don't go between your rear dual tires!:cheers:

No, they make hub centric spacers and non-hub centric spacers. Thats what we were talking about

Well, hard to tell from your pics but, I'm wondering who made those wheels.
I have been driving GM duallys since they started building them and never had any problems running 235/85 or 255/85's on any of them.
Hauled plenty of heavy loads without sidewall rubbing and tire troubles.
Loaded with truck campers while hauling 6 horses at the same time.
Stock wheels or with Alcoas.
Earlier trucks before radials I always ran 750 -16 tube type with similar results.
Most trucks run on BFG's or Armstrong AT tires.

235/85 vs 215/85. I’ve had the 235/85r16 loaded heavy no problems

Looks like they would rub with a 4k pound load (which is what Im thinking my 5er will be). Have you ever loaded it up and checked if they rub?
No I haven't.

Thanks for the info. Thats what most people say so idk what the hell is going on here. The tires are Falkens. They are a newer brand but really good and everyone I know loves them which is why I got them. I ordered some Goodyear Wranger Allterrain ATs now. Ill see if those work. Im kind of worried ill get alot of sidewall flex from them though. They dont seem like they are made for alot of hauling. If they dont work, maybe Ill try BFG ATs or just give up and get a highway tread... I know I would have enough clearance with a Bridgestone commercial highway tire. They have the steel sidewalls and are super stiff. Of course then the ride will suck until I get around to installing airbags. I just cant win lol
