Sure could be. But this almost sounds as if the seal came out of the housing, or the spring retainer in the seal broke. Usually it's a gradual thing that get's progressively worse. But you're saying it just pissed the fluid out so rather than something wear out, sounds more like a failure to me.

Seal failure. Probably that spring that holds the lips around snout, probably broke, or the seal came out of the pump which is rare, but I've heard of it happening.

That adapter is expensive. You use all of the NP205 and only part of the NP203.

That will sure do it. Something is going to give. Flywheel and TC to the crank, Trans walking off or torquing aware from the TC, something is going to give. Lucky you haven't cracked or broke the bellhousing yet if that's the case. Your trans mount must be in real good shape thankfully.

It's possible, the combo of loose bell housing, and bad trans mount could sure cause vibration. When you're torquing a motor, its got tendency to want to push in the conveter although it shouldn't if your crank thrust is doing it's job. But still, even the trans getting spun up with rpms, by nature it's going to want to walk away. It's just physics.

Well i got the trans in everything is good thank god..
This trans seems to shift alot firmer and also the np203 has been converted to part time not sure if they used the wedges or shaft but it defiantly took almost all of my play out when put into gear. Also got some new trans mount bushings the old ones were shot bad. Now i just gotta get my other dana 44 ready to go in and two new motor mounts..
