Whoa !!! Heyyyyyyyy, uhhh how about that Camo dash pad??? I want one in the 81 up dash pad style, and in the same fabric I want the door inserts and pockets done in the same. Is that just glued on? Stretched? Nice tight fit in the corners or what? I think we need a tech write up in the interior section on that deal. WTF were you thinking? No pics as you did it???

Oh guess what my front seal on my trans blew so i bought a used trans and transfercase for 100 bucks i figured i didnt wanna mess with my trans becuase it was the original. never been rebuild. Not exactly sure what caused the seal to go i put a new one in before i dropped the motor in. The vent didnt seemed clogged and no fluid came out ofthe dipstick.

They do wear you know. And sometimes just from age, they get hardened and hard enough they actually cut a groove in your TConverter snout and they have a path to lose your fluid. So here's what you do. Replace the front seal, AND when you pull the TC back up to the flywheel to bolt it on, get 3 flat washers the same thickness, and put 1 between each lug of the TC and the flywheel before you put your bolts thru them. By doing this, you're making the TC ride in a different place on the seal and put the groove back deeper into the trans. I've done it several times, works like a charm. Don't use thin washers though. You want washers at least as thick as the groove to be sure you're pushinb back far enough. EVen use 2 washers on each if you have to.
