78 C10 "Big Ten" 250 chirping noise 4 spd Muncie
I have a chirping noise. Please listen to attached and find fast higher pitched chirping noise. Truck was probably going 55 mph when recorded. Recently about 1000 feet from home the noise changed to a "fwap" rhythmic instead of chirping. Haven't driven again since. The chirping noise...- ocatrina

Valve train?
Seems obvious from video but, if I put my stethoscope on valve cover it sounds normal. I've had that scope on everything and can't figure out for sure. I'm gonna take it to mech shop and leave overnight. Have them give an opinion and go from there. I don't find any exhaust leaks otherthan a...- Sgt Gus
