Need help with installing a 454 in a 1979 GMC Sierra 4x4 frame
I’m currently restoring my dads 1979 GMC Sierra 4x4. It came with a 350 in it. I bought a Gen V 454 out of a 1991 Suburban and converted it to carbureted. Motor Mounts on Old School
Okay, point one: removing inline-six and replacing it with v-8 (small-block). Point two: the frame has two sets of mounting holes for the mount. My question is: use the original holes or the upper ones shown in the pictures? I almost want to say to use the upper ones due to the additional width...- OldSchool C-10
