Backfiring through carb/won’t idle/runs well at higher rpm (new GM crate SP350 w/new Holley 4150). Pls help!

Long tube headers installed, now backfiring on deceleration?
So I finally got around to installing my long tube headers today. I removed the rest of the exhaust including muffler for now until i can find a place that can weld me on some mufflers. It runs fine (loud as hell) when i step on the gas, but as soon as i let off the throttle, it backfires like...- BabyBlueChevrolet
